Postgresql

Distrimusic Database

In 2006 a Postgresql database with knoda frontend was created on a linux server with the following tasks

• Ripping of CD's and storing the tracks on hard disk
• Collecting and classifying the contents of tracks and albums. The text of the tracks and albums can be provided in various languages and the position of the various elements of a track title can be adjusted according to the specification and language of the portal
• Uploading of the content to various portals like iTunes, Preiser Records and more
• Settlement of the royalities

Cooperation started in 2007 with camptocamp SA and OpenERP to develop and distribute OpenERP
